DUTIES: Contribute to a team responsible for developing business process management software in the telecommunications domain using Java, Python, and C++; working with data structures including linked list, Array, and Heap; defining algorithms using tools including Eclipse and Visual Studio Code; design RESTful APIs using Swagger and Postman; create user stories using JIRA and Rally ; work with OSS and BSS systems; manage SQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases; work with object-oriented design patterns; deploy software to cloud platforms including AWS, Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), and Pivotal Cloud Foundry; graph domain architectural models using tools including Draw, Visual Studio, and Microsoft Visio; support applications under development and customize current applications; assist with the software update process for existing applications, and roll-outs of software releases; analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications; document all development activity; research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports; monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products; review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects; collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements; conduct analysis to determine integration needs; work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and two (2) years of experience developing business process management software in the telecommunications domain using Java, Python, and C++; designing data structures and algorithms using integrated development environments (IDE) including Eclipse; designing RESTful APIs using Swagger and Postman; creating user stories using JIRA and Rally; working with OSS and BSS systems; managing SQL and PostgreSQL databases, and NoSQL databases including Cassandra; deploying software to cloud platforms including AWS; and graphing domain architectural models using Draw, Visual Studio, and Microsoft Visio.
