Job Details

Seeking an experienced technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot security systems, including alarms, CCTV, and access control. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and service security systems, access control, and video surveillance equipment.
  • Route and terminate low-voltage cabling (Cat5, Cat6) through walls, ceilings, and conduits.
  • Mount and connect control panels, sensors, cameras, and related components.
  • Test and troubleshoot circuits, devices, and network configurations (IPv4).
  • Complete projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold professional customer interactions.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in alarm and access control installation and service.
  • Familiar with IP-based systems and basic networking.
  • Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Honeywell systems is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders (up to 8 ft).
  • Comfortable in confined spaces (attics, crawl spaces).
  • Capable of standing, kneeling, and climbing for extended periods.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
