JOB SUMMARY
The Application Developer II is part of a development team building, implementing and supporting enterprise grade software systems. The Application Developer II is involved all phases of the Application Lifecycle, from design or software package selection to delivery. The Application Developer has skills and experience in application development, with the ability to troubleshoot system issues and look for ways to improve software systems by managing complexity, driving results and collaborating with others.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Identify, architect and implement new integration projects between company business systems and third-party applications.
  • Participate in technical planning & requirements gathering phases including design, code, test and documentation of applications.
  • Ensure software development processes are followed per company guidelines and implemented with industry best practices for software development.
  • Adopt and learn new business systems.
  • Ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience levels.
  • Available for on-call production support rotations and afterhours production deployments.
  • Responsibly receive, transmit, and handle consumer and customer data per applicable policies and procedures.
  • Review and follow data privacy practices, policies, and guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience requirements:
  • Requires a bachelor's degree with 3-4 years of experience in Computer Science, MIS or in a related area or possess an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.


Current Technology Stack:
  • Net, C#, ASP.net (MVC, Web API), JavaScript, Dell Boomi, Angular, Database (Stored Procedures, SQL Server), REST, SAP, Apigee, Kubernetes, Docker.


Technical Experience
  • Experience in developing integration processes using Dell Boomi, Mulesoft or other low-code integration platforms.
  • Experience in application integration, SOA and API full life-cycle management.
  • Knowledge of SQL (joins, views, triggers, stored procedures, indexing) using SQL server or similar leading relational database)
  • Hands on experience with .NET, .NET Core, MVC or equivalent .NET solution frameworks.
  • Understanding of SDLC development methodologies including Scrum and Agile.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based platforms (AWS preferred).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of the job, the associate is required on a daily basis to analyze and interpret data, communicate, and remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday; and frequently access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The associate is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The associate is occasionally required to travel to other sites, including out-of-state, where applicable, for business. The associate must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounter while performing the essential functions of this job. While the job is generally performed in an office environment, the associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, areas in which moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals are present, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the office environment is typically quiet, but the associate may be occasionally exposed to loud noise levels. Minimal travel is required for this position (up to 20% of the time and on a domestic basis).
