Role: ServiceNow ITSM / ITOM Architect/Developer
Location: Remote - USA
Job Type: contract to Hire
Role Overview:
The ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM Developer will design, configure, develop, and support ITSM and ITOM modules to optimize IT service delivery and operations. The role involves implementing workflows, integrating systems, and ensuring platform stability and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and configure ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Request) and ITOM (Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping, Cloud Management) modules.
- Design probes, sensors, and patterns for various infrastructure types.
- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party platforms using REST/SOAP APIs and MID servers.
- Maintain and optimize CMDB using best practices for Discovery and Service Mapping.
- Automate IT processes with Flow Designer, workflows, and scripting.
- Create dashboards and analytics for ITSM/ITOM performance metrics.
- Lead client discussions, manage technical teams, and drive ServiceNow roadmap execution.
- Provide documentation, training, and support throughout implementation lifecycles.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 4 6 years of ServiceNow development experience.
- Mandatory certifications: CSA and CAD and CIS ITSM or CIS ITOM.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, and Glide scripting.
- Solid understanding of CMDB, ITIL processes, and Agile development methodology.
- Proven ability to deliver end-to-end ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM solutions with excellent communication and client engagement skills.
