Job Details

Title: Wi-Fi Architect

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, analyze, and implement Wi-Fi features for next-gen CPE products

  • Optimize radio/antenna parameters for improved customer experience

  • Build and maintain test setups simulating real-world conditions

  • Develop performance metrics and lead the resolution of lab/field issues

  • Collaborate with Dev, QA, and Product teams to define test strategies

  • Lead project efforts, review architecture specs, and provide expert guidance

  • Integrate automation and develop solutions for issue reproduction and testing

  • Stay ahead of trends in Wi-Fi testing and industry standards

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience with WLAN protocols (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be)

  • Expertise in Wi-Fi security protocols (WPA2, WPA3, 802.1X)

  • Hands-on experience with Wi-Fi extenders, mesh, and steering protocols (802.11k/v/r)

  • Strong background in collaboration with Product/Dev teams on technical requirements

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize Wi-Fi in new product environments

  • Experience working with Wi-Fi test automation and standards (IEEE, WFA, WBA, IETF)

  • Demonstrated leadership in QA strategy development and issue resolution
