Business Development Manager

Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite/Hybrid)

Schedule: During training for the first month the role will be onsite 5 days/week, then will be hybrid 3 days/week matching the sponsor s schedule (currently Mon-Wed onsite).

Duration: 12+ Months, potential for extension

Maintains and develops internal and external relationships with business and technical peers for assigned partners. Utilizes process to support development and maintenance of pipeline; prepares information for reporting to key stakeholders. Escalates to manager as needed. Closes opportunities using predefined program frameworks or templates, as applicable. Assists with execution and deal management by communicating and reporting with stakeholders. Tracks blocking issues and works with deal stakeholders to drive resolutions. Supports post-deal governance and execution plans by working with internal and partner stakeholders across business and technical and operational teams. and supports measurement results by assessing progress against. KPIs defined success metrics (e.g., revenue, volume of opportunities in the pipeline/channel).
Skills:

Preferred bachelor s degree in business, Liberal Arts, Sciences, or related field OR equivalent experience. Minimum 2+ years relevant work experience (e.g., investment banking, corporate strategy, sales, venture capital, business development, product management, or related field). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrable ability to build and maintain successful business partnerships.

Typical Day in the Role Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is working on partnerships & licensing for a large gaming studio Key projects: This role will contribute to license importing for a large gaming studio. Their job is to manage the partners and get new /replace partners that are not meeting expectations. Core game, development, outsourcing partners, support partners. Will be working with attorneys and handle standardized negotiations and forms that they use. Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 50-60% meetings, 25% working with attorneys on drafting agreements and negotiations, 15-20% managing processes for the triage.
