What You'll Do

  • Define and scale the engineering org structure, hiring plan, and career development frameworks

  • Lead by example-you'll be hands-on when needed, and always available as a mentor and technical guide

  • Champion engineering excellence in coding standards, model reliability, testing, and observability

  • Establish robust MLOps practices-from CI/CD pipelines to real-time model monitoring and governance

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, research, and business leadership to align technical decisions with company goals

  • Foster a high-performing, inclusive, and async-first engineering culture

Our Tech Stack

  • Languages: Python (LangChain, PyTorch, TensorFlow, FastAPI), TypeScript

  • LLM & AI Tools: LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Transformers, OpenCV, HuggingFace, scikit-learn

  • Infra & MLOps: AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Argo)

  • Databases: PostgreSQL, Redis, Neo4j

  • Monitoring & Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, Weights & Biases, Sentry

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years of experience in engineering, with at least 3+ years in a leadership capacity (Director/VP level)

  • Proven track record of building and scaling ML infrastructure and engineering teams (10+ engineers ideally)

  • Hands-on experience deploying ML/AI systems at scale, with strong Python and system design expertise

  • Familiarity with LLMs, agentic AI, RAG pipelines, and MLOps tooling

  • Experience in venture-backed startups or other high-growth, fast-paced environments

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical team.
