RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Huntsville, AL that is seeking a SAS Developer. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in collecting, analyzing, and manipulating data to understand current projects and productivity.

Responsibilities:
* The SAS Developer will develop and maintain SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya programs and applications
* Create solutions for data integration, distribution, and management
* Collaborate with other developers, analysts, and end users to identify requirements and develop solutions
* Perform data cleansing, transformation, and validation to ensure accurate data
* Design and build SAS data warehouses and databases
* Develop and maintain process documentation
* The SAS Developer will participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes
* Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
* Experience with SAS programming (DATA step and PROC SQL), SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Studio, Stored Process Web Application and SAS Macro Language
* Proficient in SQL and databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or Teradata
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Able to work independently and in a team environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
