Design, documentation, implementation, prototyping, and testing of next generation encryption devices on cutting edge high speed or ultra-low power digital circuit boards for Layer 3 In-line Network Encryptors.

Salary range
$153,500.00 - $242,500.00 / annually.For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $185,500.00- $278,500.00/ annually

What you'll do

The day-to-day

What you'll need
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- 8+ years hardware design or sustaining experience
- Experience designing high speed digital circuit boards
- Foundational knowledge of analog and digital logic and timing considerations
- Must be able to prioritize, be detail oriented, and have history of handling time well to accomplish multiple tasks in parallel
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, take ownership of tasks and results
- ship and ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance
- Ability to travel up to 10%
What will help you on the job
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to work with a temporally and geographically diverse team
- Ability to document and report on technical solutions/findings
- Solid understanding of MS Office products for documentation creation and modification
- Familiarity with standard test equipment (i.e., oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzer, power supplies, etc.)
- Familiarity with production related processes and common failure modes
- High aptitude for learning new things
- Desire to be part of a multidisciplinary team to evaluate and troubleshoot production related issues
