About the Project
We are modernizing and optimizing an existing ASP.NET web application that serves as a core platform for our business. The site currently leverages ASP.NET, HTML, MVC, Telerik UI, jQuery, VSTO (Office integrations), and CSS. We're looking for two experienced Senior Front-End / Web UI Developers to update the front end with a focus on optimizing performance with large data sets.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with backend developers and business analysts to refine requirements and deliver high-quality UI features.
- Optimize performance and responsiveness of existing ASP.NET MVC views and components.
- Implement modern CSS best practices (flex, grid, responsive layouts, cross-browser compatibility).
- Refactor and enhance jQuery/Telerik-based UI components for usability and maintainability.
- Integrate front-end components seamlessly with ASP.NET MVC controllers and Razor views.
- Ensure accessibility, usability, and WCAG compliance.
- Assist in Office integration components using VSTO where required.
- Mentor junior team members and provide code reviews.
- 7+ years experience in front-end development with ASP.NET (MVC), HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
- Strong experience with Telerik UI for ASP.NET MVC (grid, charts, forms, etc.).
- Experience optimizing legacy ASP.NET applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Knowledge of VSTO and Office integration workflows.
- Strong UI/UX sensibilities; able to translate wireframes into pixel-perfect interfaces.
- Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and how to resolve them.
- Familiarity with responsive design frameworks and modern CSS methodologies.
- Familiarity with Angular/React/Tailwind for future-proofing.
- Experience with DevOps pipelines for ASP.NET applications.
- Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG 2.1) best practices.
