Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer with 5+ years of experience and strong expertise in API testing to ensure our applications meet high standards of reliability, scalability, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in performance testing tools (Load Runner), scripting, and in-depth knowledge of API testing.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Performance Testing:
  2. Design, develop, and execute performance testing strategies for web and backend systems.
  3. Create performance test scripts using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner
  4. Analyze performance test results and provide actionable recommendations for improvements.
  5. Identify and address bottlenecks in application performance.
  6. API Testing:
  7. Validate API functionality, performance, scalability, and security.
  8. Develop and execute API Test Cases.
  9. Conduct load and stress testing for APIs.
  10. Collaboration:
  11. Work closely with developers, PO's and DevOps teams to optimize system performance.
  12. Participate in requirement gathering to understand performance criteria and benchmarks.
  13. Monitoring & Reporting:
  14. Monitor system performance during tests and identify deviations.
  15. Generate comprehensive performance test reports, documenting results and areas for improvement.
  16. Continuous Improvement:
  17. Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
