Location - Stillwater, Ok - This role is 5 days a week onsite in office normal business hours.

Will consider relocation - person must be able to start asap

Salary 125K to 140K and good benefits package, full time role

Overview

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Plant Controller to lead all aspects of financial planning, reporting, cost control, and team leadership at our manufacturing facility. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, financial integrity, and continuous improvement across the business.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA strongly preferred)

  • 7+ years of accounting experience, including 5+ years in team leadership roles

  • Manufacturing or industrial sector experience is required

  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, P&L drivers, and KPI-based management

  • ERP experience (D365 or equivalent); advanced Excel and financial modeling skills

  • Strong communication, presentation, and business partnering ability

  • Understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and audit processes

Preferred Experience
  • CPA certification

  • Experience in Private Equity-owned environments

  • Familiarity with business planning & consolidation systems (BPC)

  • Power BI or similar analytics platform knowledge

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a financial advisor to the President and senior leadership team.

  • Lead budgeting, quarterly rolling forecasts, and long-term business planning.

  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in compliance with GAAP.

  • Manage all cost accounting processes and inventory valuation systems (ERP-based).

  • Implement and maintain strong internal controls and audit readiness.

  • Collaborate with operations to improve production costing, scrap, and variance tracking.

  • Lead financial analysis initiatives, including pricing, margin optimization, and cash management.

  • Support capital investment justification and cost reduction initiatives.

  • Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team with clear goals and accountability.

  • Drive ERP improvements and support digital transformation in finance operations.
