As an Engineer Senior, the work you ll do will be impactful. You will:
- Play a crucial role in developing applications which help our customer deliver quality healthcare on Medicaid.
- Support the development of React based applications used by the client.
- Collaborate with other JavaScript developers and Java API developers to deliver high quality, reusable React components.
- Drive the success of high quality, modernized, and flexible web applications.
- Utilize JavaScript, React.js, Redux, TypeScript, Next.js to develop new user-facing features.
WHAT YOU LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to the client. The Engineer Senior must have:
Education:
Bachelor of Science
Experience:
5+ years of related experience
Technical skills:
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
- Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
- Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
- Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization
Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial
Preferred Qualifications:
- Public Sector Healthcare experience a plus
- HHS, NIH, CMS or State Healthcare a plus
- Medicare, Medicaid
- EHR systems, regulatory/ healthcare compliance (HIPAA, SOX, FFIEC), healthcare portal
