Pay Range: $50 per hour

Description of responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven Senior Technical SEO with 6+ years of technical SEO experience to join our dynamic team and work on technical SEO at scale.
The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, data-driven environment, possesses a deep understanding of technical SEO, and has experience navigating the unique challenges of large-scale ecommerce sites.
Self-motivated and capable of working on multiple technical SEO workflows like technical checks, resolving traffic and indexing anomalies, auditing website architecture, as well as being able to identify, prioritize, and troubleshoot daily technical SEO challenges as they arise.
Preferred candidates are self-directed and feel comfortable switching between various projects, deliverables, and stakeholders. Should have the ability to translate complex SEO concepts into clear actionable insights for varying audiences.

SEO experience with:
- Schema/structured data (plus for experience with ecommerce schema/structured data)
- Crawling optimization (plus for experience with 2M+ URL websites)
- Indexing audits and troubleshooting
- Canonicalization/clustering/duplication
- Internationalization/hreflang
- Information architecture/internal linking
- Robots.txt directives
- Core Web Vitals/page experience
- XML sitemaps deployment and optimization at scale
- Desktop/mobile parity and UA behavior
- Dynamic rendering / JS frameworks from an SEO POV
- Performance changes and anomaly analysis using GSC and layering other 3rd party and internal data sources
- Chrome DevTools proficient
SEO tools & platforms experience:
- Experience extracting actionable insights from competitive analysis and crawling tools like: Lumar, Screaming Frog, Semrush, Ahrefs, Sistrix, SimilarWeb, AWR, Etc.
- Proficient with MS Excel and Google Spreadsheets (a plus for 2M+ row data sets, SQL, Python, etc.)
- Knows GSC in and out, and how to use and find relevant information in GSC to extract data, develop findings, and troubleshoot.
- Plus for BigQuery, Tableau, Data Studio, CDN, APIs experience.
Role responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits and implement solutions to improve crawl efficiency, indexation, and organic search visibility across multiple websites and technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, content) to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into website architecture, platform migrations, and product development
- Analyze large-scale data sets (millions of rows) using Excel, Google Sheets, and other tools to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities
- Develop, test, monitor and validate scalable strategies to enhance site speed, mobile usability, schema implementation, and Core Web Vitals
- Utilize enterprise tools and in-house technology to monitor and resolve technical SEO issues at scale
- Contribute to the team's knowledge-sharing culture by documenting processes, mentoring peers, and leading discussions on SEO innovations
- Stay ahead of industry trends and algorithm updates, proactively suggesting adjustments to strategies and processes

- Exceptional communication skills with proven experience collaborating cross-functionally across teams
