Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Desktop Support / Field Support Technician to provide both onsite and remote support in a Windows 10/11 environment. This role involves supporting approximately 250 computers, 250 printers (including Zebra and label printers), and 250 scanners. The ideal candidate will have strong hardware troubleshooting skills, experience with imaging and deployments, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide hands-on support for Windows 10 and Windows 11 desktops and laptops, including troubleshooting OS and hardware issues.
  • Support and maintain a wide range of printers (HP, Lexmark, Zebra, label printers) and handheld scanners, resolving issues as they arise.
  • Perform hardware break/fix tasks including hard drive and RAM replacements, device refreshes, and decommissioning of outdated equipment.
  • Use SCCM to image, deploy, and manage client machines across the environment.
  • Assist with new user setups, including workstation installation, peripheral configuration, and Active Directory account provisioning.
  • Deliver remote support using Bomgar to troubleshoot and resolve user issues efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support activities, asset changes, and technical procedures.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills while working with end-users and stakeholders.
  • Take initiative and drive tasks forward with minimal direction; adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs) is a plus.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in desktop or field support roles.
  • Proficiency in Windows 10/11 environments and desktop hardware troubleshooting.
  • Experience with SCCM for imaging and client management.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and remote support tools such as Bomgar.
  • Hands-on experience with printer and scanner support, especially Zebra devices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Network fundamentals knowledge is a plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
