responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities Automation Strategy & Execution

  • Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive, scalable, and reusable automated test frameworks for web applications.
  • Implement and execute complex automated test scripts using Selenium to perform functional, regression, and cross-browser testing.
  • Integrate automated test runs into the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline to provide immediate feedback on code changes.
  • Drive the reduction of manual testing effort by identifying high-value automation candidates and establishing clear metrics for success.
Test Management and Reporting
  • Serve as the primary user and administrator for the test management platform, leveraging Micro Focus Octane (or similar tools) to manage test cases, execute tests, and track defects.
  • Analyze and report on test execution results, defect trends, and overall quality health using Octane's reporting features for transparency across Development and Product teams.
  • Oversee defect lifecycle management, ensuring clear communication, reproduction steps, and timely verification of fixes.




qualifications:

REQUIRED SKILLS:


5+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation.


Expert proficiency in developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks using Selenium WebDriver (preferably with Java, Python, or C#).


Mandatory hands-on experience with a Test Management platform, specifically Micro Focus Octane (or HP-ALM).


Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within an Agile environment.


Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git/GitHub).
