RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Analyst to manage work packages and ensure project deliverables are met through collaboration with cross-functional IT teams. This role provides Tier 3 proactive and reactive service and performance management for mission-critical systems, responds to real-time alerts, and conducts ongoing performance analysis to maintain optimal system health. The position also involves planning, designing, and managing infrastructure technologies to support complex enterprise environments.
Responsibilities:
* Lead operational and tactical initiatives to support IT infrastructure
* Handle multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines
* Conduct complex root cause analysis to resolve infrastructure issues
* Develop and maintain patch management strategies for secure environments
* Plan, design, and manage infrastructure technologies for heterogeneous data and voice systems
* Manage project databases and enhance reporting capabilities
* Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and develop guidelines
* Perform system administration duties across various platforms and applications
* Collaborate with management on financial efficiency and resource planning
* Develop and deliver training sessions as needed
* Provide on-call production support on a rotating basis
* Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Computer Systems, Management, or related field
* Extensive experience in IT infrastructure management and system administration
* Strong knowledge of networking, hardware, virtualization (compute/storage), hypervisors, and Active Directory
* Familiarity with Windows, Linux/Unix, and Azure Cloud environments
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
* Ability to manage sensitive information and work independently or in a team
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong written and verbal communication abilities
* Ability to work in varied locations (field, construction centers, office)
* Flexibility to provide on-call support and adapt to changing priorities
Preferred Skills:
* Experience supporting infrastructure migrations from physical to virtual environments
* Knowledge of data communications and telecommunications principles
* Applied experience with performance monitoring and proactive issue resolution
