Job Title: SAP FICO Lead (Treasury, BCM, Collections & AR)
Location: Secaucus, NJ (5 Days Onsite)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Lead with deep expertise in Treasury, Bank Communication Management (BCM), Collections, and Accounts Receivable (AR). The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations and act as a solution architect to drive financial transformation. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to deliver high-value SAP FICO solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the SAP FICO Solution Architect, responsible for designing optimized solutions for complex finance business processes.
  • Lead SAP S/4HANA FICO implementations, upgrades, and global roll-outs, including integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Configure and support modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Asset Accounting (AA), Profitability Analysis (COPA), Cost Center Accounting, Cash & Receivables Management.
  • Apply solid knowledge in Treasury, BCM, and NBA processes, with strong focus on Collection Management and AR.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business needs and develop scalable, integrated SAP solutions.
  • Execute key finance processes such as Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Cash Application, EBS, Asset Management, Parallel Ledger Accounting, Withholding Tax, and Centralized Payments.
  • Deliver training, support testing, manage cutover activities, and provide post go-live support.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives and provide thought leadership in financial and controlling areas.
  • Ensure alignment between business goals and SAP solution roadmap.
  • Support application rollouts, system upgrades, and ensure smooth integration of new features.
  • Actively participate in code, design, and quality reviews.
  • Provide ongoing operational support and emergency response outside normal hours as needed.
  • Champion Agile methodologies and promote a collaborative, innovation-driven culture.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in SAP FICO, particularly with S/4HANA (1709 or higher).
  • Strong hands-on experience in Treasury, BCM, Collection Management, and AR.
  • Expertise across financial accounting (FI) and controlling (CO) with deep configuration experience.
  • Experience working on global SAP rollouts, full lifecycle implementations, and post go-live support.
  • Proven ability to engage with senior business stakeholders and IT leaders.
  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Attributes
  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in Agile environments with a passion for automation and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to stay current with emerging SAP technologies and best practices.
