Job Details

Texas GovLink, Inc. is an Austin-based firm which has been a provider of technical and business professionals to clients in Texas. We are currently seeking an experienced IAM Business Analyst to be a key resource on a technical services team for our client,Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

**Location of job: Onsite. Candidates must be local to Austin, TX.**

Responsibilities:

TxDOT is seeking a skilled and motivated Business Analyst II to join our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. This role will support the implementation and optimization of SailPoint and Ping platforms, which are critical to our enterprise security and access control strategy. The ideal candidate will have experience in business analysis within IT environments, particularly in IAM, and will play a key role in bridging business needs with technical solutions.

The workers responsibilities and skills must include:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for IAM solutions.
  • Support the implementation of SailPoint Identity Governance and Ping Access Management platforms.
  • Develop process maps, workflows, and use cases to support IAM initiatives.
  • Facilitate meetings between business units, technical teams, and vendors to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Assist in the development of training materials, user guides, and change management communications.
  • Analyze access data and generate reports to support compliance, audit readiness, and performance metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within IAM operations.
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be a creative thinker to solve issues.

Qualifications

Minimum (Required):

7 years of:

  • Experience in business analysis, preferably in IT or cybersecurity environments.
  • Experience with IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Ping, Okta, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, role-based access control, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in process modeling tools and techniques
  • Skilled in creating and presenting executive level project communications.
  • Skilled in gathering requirements from business divisions.
  • Skilled in educating business unit staff on standardized processes.
  • Possess strong verbal and written skills in communicating with peers and different levels of users including executive staff.
  • Skilled in facilitating group meetings with internal and external resources.
  • Skilled in collaborating with the technical and functional teams to develop the Technical Specification and other documents need in support of the solution.
  • Experience in implementing Enterprise Systems Integration.

Preferred (Optional):

  • Experience with one or more of the state of Texas government agencies
  • Familiarity with ITIL, NIST, or other security frameworks.
  • Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA) or IAM-related certifications.
