You will be responsible for both manual and automation testing (50/50 split) and will play a crucial role in ensuring software reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct manual testing to identify defects, inconsistencies, and edge cases in applications.
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright (or Cypress, if applicable).
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure optimal testing strategies.
- Analyze test results, document findings, and advocate for software quality improvements.
- Continuously refine and improve test processes, leveraging automation where beneficial.
- Troubleshoot and debug test failures, working closely with developers to resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain detailed test documentation, ensuring clarity and traceability for test cases.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Strong QA mindset, with a detail-oriented approach to testing and quality assurance.
- 3-5+ years of QA experience, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to learn.
- Experience working in both manual and automation testing environments.
- Expertise in Playwright (preferred) or Cypress if Playwright candidates are scarce.
- A passion for manual testing, viewing automation as a tool to enhance-not replace-rigorous quality checks.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and software testing frameworks.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments, embracing iterative development and continuous testing.
