Job Details

Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site field support including installation, servicing, and repair of systems and equipment.
  • Assist in resolving complex installation and maintenance issues.
  • Verify and approve operational quality of systems and equipment.
  • Resolve hardware/software issues related to installation, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Instruct users on the operation and maintenance of IT systems and devices.
  • Escalate issues to the appropriate personnel or service areas for additional troubleshooting.
  • Act as a liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters.
  • Analyze and prepare reports on system problem trends and recurring issues.

Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of field support experience.
  • Proficiency in ticket and asset management systems.
  • Strong experience with hardware/software installation and troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of Windows XP, 10, and 11.
  • Experience supporting Mac OS and iOS devices.
  • Proficient in network printer setup, HP configuration, consumable swaps, and device relocation.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Office, Office 365, and phone security.
  • Strong networking support skills, including VPN and basic troubleshooting.
  • Experience with PC imaging using SCCM and standalone methods.
  • Capability to perform remote software/hardware installations and support.
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts and Hands & Eyes support.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.

Preferred Education and Training
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Lenovo or other vendor certifications.
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ (preferred but not required).
  • Apple training or certifications (preferred but not required).

Work Environment
  • Office-based with exposure to kiosks, vending machines, and telco closets.
  • May require occasional weekend work for high-priority support.
  • Shift work and on-call coverage will be required.
