Internal Operations Project Manager
Location: Honolulu, HI (Hybrid - 2-3 in-office days/week)
Job Type: Full-Time | 1 year Contract to hire
Reports To: Executive Leadership
At TEKsystems we are working with a local organization seeking a dynamic and hands-on Project Manager to support one of our executives in managing multiple ongoing initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings genuine passion to their work, and is comfortable navigating both strategic and operational tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in government or public sector environments and a strong understanding of IT systems and application development. The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership on project planning, execution, and reporting.
- Engage with internal teams and external stakeholders, including state clients, to ensure project success.
- Provide hands-on support for IT-related initiatives, particularly in application development environments.
- Maintain clear documentation and communication throughout all project phases.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Utilize tools such as JIRA to track project tasks, issues, and timelines.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project management, ideally within government or public sector environments.
- Familiarity with IT systems and application development processes.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Preferred/Secondary Skills:
- Stakeholder management experience.
