Job Description:

We need a Network Engineer to join our team to focus on the technical aspects of data center network architecture and operations. The engineer will work daily alongside engineering staff at the site to become thoroughly familiar with the unique processes and requirements related to DOD-specific configurations and challenges. This role will also serve as a team lead.

Required Experience:
  • 8+ years of related experience or a combination of education and experience
  • DOD 8570 IAT level II required


Required Technical Skills:
  • Analyzes customer requirements and provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
  • Performs maintenance and upgrades of networks, including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, remote access systems, and networks
  • Maintains network integrity and connectivity while ensuring compliance with policies and maintaining system backup and recovery capabilities
  • Coordinates the acquisition of hardware and software, as well as subcontractor services as needed
  • Creates plans and configures systems for data communication networks
  • Designs and builds hardware and software components for computer or telecommunications networks
  • Evaluates new communications technologies to enhance network capabilities
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned


Security Clearance Level:
  • TS/SCI required to start


Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Good communication skills; shows tact, effective listening skills, and follow-through
  • Detail-oriented and organized; able to understand network evaluation criteria and be exact in assessments


Preferred Skills:
  • CCNA or equivalent certification
  • Military experience
