Neos is seeking a Informatica Data Architect for a long-term contract with our client in Austin, TX.

*****Only candidates local to Austin should apply as you will be working onsite a couple of days a week.

The Informatica data engineer/architect is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the infrastructure and systems required for data storage, processing, and analysis. They play a crucial role in building and managing the data pipelines that enable efficient and reliable data integration, transformation, and delivery for all data users across the enterprise. Skills required include advanced (senior-level) data analysis and architecture work including data modeling, ETL development, implementing and managing database systems, and data warehouses.

Responsibilities

  • Designs and develops Informatica ETL jobs and schedules to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the enterprise data warehouse
  • Develops, implements and maintains ETL processes, including logic for data integrations, workflows and mappings, master data management (MDM), data lineage, data cleansing and data aggregation
  • Modifies and configures ETL processes to accommodate changes in source systems and new business requirements
  • Monitors ETL pipelines for performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Integrates data from different sources, including databases, data warehouses, APIs, and external systems
  • Ensures data consistency and integrity during the integration process, performing data validation and cleaning as needed
  • Designs, implements, and optimizes data warehouse architecture and data models
  • Transforms raw data into a usable format by applying data cleansing, aggregation, filtering, and enrichment techniques
  • Optimizes data pipelines and data processing workflows for performance, scalability, and efficiency
  • Translates high-level business requirements into data models and appropriate metadata, test data, and data quality standards
  • Develops and maintains SQL scripts for data transformation and loading
  • Develops detailed and summary dashboards and reports for mastered data and for data quality
  • Refreshes, automates and streamlines the data pipeline and enterprise data warehouse processes
  • Trains staff on Informatica workflows and mappings, Informatica master data management, Informatica dashboards and reports, and support and maintenance
  • A bachelor s degree in computer science, data science, software engineering, information systems, or related quantitative field; master s degree preferred.
