Job Description
The Security Architect Consultant will serve as an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer within the Information Security division. This role will support the implementation, integration, and operationalization of enterprise security technologies. The consultant will also develop automation to integrate various security tools and support the design and execution of secure architecture solutions.
This engagement is expected to last 12 months, with the potential for extension.
Daily Duties & Responsibilities
Preference is given to candidates who can work onsite, followed by hybrid availability, over fully remote arrangements.
Oversee identity and access management activities including proper configuration of IAM, Single Sign-On, Multi-Factor Authentication, Active Directory, and security-related applications.
Build, implement, and maintain automation across diverse security and IT enterprise tools.
Plan, design, and deploy enterprise security solutions aligned with business goals, compliance requirements, and risk management strategies.
Develop and implement countermeasures to mitigate known security threats and create preventative strategies for emerging risks.
Validate the consistent application of security controls across enterprise systems, applications, and infrastructure.
Take appropriate actions to safeguard sensitive data, technology services, and enterprise assets.
Required Skills (Ranked by Importance)
5+ years demonstrated expertise in identity and access control, logging, and reporting systems.
5+ years automation development experience using tools such as Python, Bash, or similar.
Strong cybersecurity awareness and understanding of modern security frameworks and practices.
5+ years experience with Linux, Windows, and network security protocols and procedures.
5+ years experience supporting large-scale IT environments and/or enterprise system deployments.
Required Education & Certifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field
OR
8 years of relevant work experience in lieu of formal education.
Preferred Education & Certifications
Advanced security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISO, or equivalents.
Additional certifications such as CEH, OSCP, GPEN.
Vendor-specific certifications for SIEM or logging technologies.
Interview Process
Initial interview via Microsoft Teams (camera required).
Onsite interview preferred before final selection.
