Job Details

We are looking for a Network Engineer Specialist for Austin, TX (local to Austin). Please find the job details below.

Minimum Yrs of Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
8-10+ Manages MDF and IDF maintenance programs and ensure schedule is adhered to and coordinated with production requirements and Data Center objectives
Obtains and reviews vendor bids for support and repairs; determines appropriate vendor, ensures vendor adheres to quality, scheduling, budgetary guidelines, policies, procedures and standards.
Participates in strategic and operational planning to achieve business goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing IT initiatives, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future technology across the organization.
Participates in the development, tracking, and control the information technology annual operating and capital budgets.
Approves, prioritizes, and controls projects and the project portfolio as they relate to the selection, acquisition, development, and installation of major information systems.
Manages and establishes priorities for maintenance, design, development, and analysis of network equipment & systems.
Coordinates with data center services (DCS), third-party vendors.
Leads, directs, and utilizes knowledge on best practices in area related to network.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Management Information Systems or related
3 years of supervisory/managerial experience
