Role Summary

We are looking for a seasoned SAP ABAP & Integration Engineer to architect, develop, and optimize robust SAP solutions across ECC and S/4HANA landscapes. Positioned at the convergence of custom development, system optimization, and cloud modernization, this role plays a critical part in enabling enterprise transformation particularly in RISE with SAP environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end ABAP development with a focus on modular, upgrade-safe architectures tailored for S/4HANA and RISE with SAP ecosystems.

  • Design and implement enhancements across SAP FICO, supporting compliance automation, electronic document processing, and regulatory integration.

  • Partner closely with SAP Basis teams to ensure optimal system health, transport sequencing, and performance tuning across hybrid infrastructures.

  • Develop advanced solutions using CDS Views, AMDP, OData Services, and integrate seamlessly with SAP Fiori applications.

  • Enable external connectivity via REST/SOAP web services, ALE/IDocs, and custom APIs to support enterprise-wide data exchange.

  • Perform deep-dive debugging and performance analysis using ST22, SAT, ST05, and Gateway logs.

  • Modernize legacy Z-code in preparation for Clean Core adoption by leveraging ABAP RAP and extensibility through SAP BTP.

  • Support system upgrades, migrations, and greenfield S/4HANA implementations, ensuring clean transports and post-go-live stability.

  • Act as a bridge between functional consultants, architects, and Basis admins to coordinate deployment strategies and system configurations.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of SAP ABAP development experience, with mastery in both classical and object-oriented paradigms.

  • Strong coordination experience with SAP Basis teams, including managing transport routes, RFCs, and client strategy.

  • Proven hands-on delivery in S/4HANA and RISE with SAP, including Clean Core transition initiatives.

  • Expertise in ABAP OO, CDS Views, ALV, BAPIs, BADIs, enhancements, and middleware integration patterns.

  • Solid understanding of SAP authorization concepts and security-aware custom development.

  • Exposure to SAP BTP, with knowledge of Integration Suite or Extension Suite.
