RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Security IT Business Analyst in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain security documentation including policies, standards, procedures, workflows, and guides; identify gaps and risks for improvement
* Ensure documentation supports compliance and audit readiness
* Facilitate collaboration across IT teams, stakeholders, and external partners to maintain alignment and communication
* Create reports, presentations, and dashboards to track and communicate security initiatives
* Support development of training and communications to promote adoption of security policies and best practices
* Contribute to planning, tracking, and monitoring of security projects to ensure timely delivery and strategic alignment
* Manage and document risks, issues, and decisions related to security policies and processes
* Participate in security reviews and assessments, documenting findings and remediation steps
* Gather, analyze, and document requirements for security tools and processes
* Provide clear documentation to support decision-making, audit responses, and operational changes
* Perform other related duties to support the mission of the security office

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5-8 years of IT experience, including 3+ years in business analysis, technical writing, or similar roles
* Strong understanding of information security frameworks and best practices
* Skilled in developing and maintaining IT/security policies, standards, and procedures
* Proficient with Microsoft 365, Jira, and other collaboration/project tracking tools
* Experienced in facilitating requirements gathering sessions with technical and business stakeholders
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify process gaps and recommend improvements
* Capable of managing multiple assignments and balancing priorities independently or within cross-functional teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
