Job Description
HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Journeyman Data Scientist to join our team and help support our government customer in Fairfax, VA.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement techniques or analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software. Apply data mining, modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets. Visualize, interpret, and report data findings. May help to create dynamic data reports as well as :
-Participate in the implementation of data science enclave
-Conduct data cleaning and normalization
- Serve as data engineering POC for study cases ( JTIM, IMM, etc)
-Work with data science tools in the cloud environment
-Manage data ( data categorization/labeling, retention, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications
5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in realted field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
Requires an active TS/SCI level clearance and the ability to obtain an IAT Level II Certification within 90 days if not already achieved.
