About the Role:
We're seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager II to oversee two key projects within the State of Illinois MMIS (Medicaid Management Information System) program. The client is responsible for delivering the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) components of the program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide oversight and leadership for two concurrent projects under the MMIS program.
• Ensure delivery aligns with program goals, timelines, and quality standards.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, risks, and dependencies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across EDW and EPMO workstreams.
• Drive governance, reporting, and project status updates for executive stakeholders.
• Coordinate with technical and business teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring compliance with PMO standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5 10 years of experience with MMIS (Medicaid Management Information System) projects.
• 5 10 years of experience managing large-scale DDI (Design, Development, and Implementation) projects.
• 1 3 years of experience with Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) projects.
• Proven track record of managing multiple, complex initiatives simultaneously.
• Strong stakeholder communication, risk management, and project governance skills.
• Experience working with state government or healthcare domain preferred.
