We are seeking an experienced and motivated Desk Side Support Lead to oversee our on-site IT support operations. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your leadership, technical, and customer service skills in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for our deskside support team and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality, solution-based IT services.

salary: $36 - 42 per hour

responsibilities:
- Act as the site lead and main point of contact for deskside support operations
- Ensure effective delivery of IT support services to both onsite and remote users
- Manage client expectations and maintain strong professional relationships
- Address escalated tickets and issues, ensuring timely resolution
- Mentor and coach team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement
- Lead or participate in service projects and new implementations
- Conduct performance evaluations and manage team resource allocation
- Evaluate and enhance support procedures to improve productivity and service quality
- Provide detailed reporting and identify opportunities for process improvements
- Participate in interviews and onboarding of new team members
- Escalate critical service or personnel issues to leadership as needed
qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience providing deskside support to onsite and remote users
- 3+ years in a leadership or management role within an IT support environment
- Proven ability to manage and mentor technical support teams
- Experience handling escalations and managing service expectations
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and processes
- Experience with ticketing systems; ServiceNow experience preferred
- Technical certifications are a plus
