Job Details
Title: Senior Tester
Location: Washington, DC 20024 (Hybrid 50% Onsite)
Rate: $55+/hr
Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension)
Job Description
Seeking a Senior Tester with expertise in large-scale ERP implementations, preferably Oracle Fusion Cloud (HCM, Financials, Procurement). Must have extensive payroll systems experience including calculations, tax regulations, deductions, garnishments, and year-end processing. Public sector or complex unionized payroll background is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and document test plans, test cases, and automated scripts.
- Validate ERP functionalities with strong focus on payroll operations.
- Perform SIT, UAT, regression, and performance testing.
- Conduct SQL-based data validation and defect tracking via JIRA/Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirement analysis and defect resolution.
- Ensure compliance with QA standards and prepare detailed reports.
Qualifications
- Proven experience testing ERP implementations (Oracle Fusion Cloud preferred).
- Strong payroll systems knowledge in unionized/public sector environments.
- Proficiency in JIRA, Azure DevOps, SQL and familiarity with Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience with automated testing tools for Oracle Fusion Cloud (preferred).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- ISTQB or similar testing certification is a plus.
