Must-Have Skills

Strong system administration experience with Linux/Unix.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools: Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex technical issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
Knowledge of platform security best practices and implementation.
Good-to-Have Skills
Experience with automation platforms: CISCO NSO, Itential, Ansible, NetBrain.
Solid understanding of networking protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN.
Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.

Detailed Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Production Support Engineer to maintain and enhance the performance, reliability, and security of our enterprise platforms. This role involves monitoring systems, troubleshooting issues, automating operational tasks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless platform operations across cloud and on-prem environments.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and support on-prem infrastructure, network systems, servers, and databases.
Monitor platform performance using tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, and AppDynamics; troubleshoot and resolve issues to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to deploy new platforms, upgrades, and enhancements.
Develop and implement automation scripts for system management, monitoring, and reporting.
Ensure compliance with security protocols and data privacy regulations.
Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams; assist with user training as needed.
Conduct regular performance assessments and system audits to identify and implement improvements.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in platform operations.
Define and measure Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs).
Participate in on-call rotations and incident response activities.
