Job Description:
Software QA Analyst

As a Software QA Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web-based payment processing systems, APIs, third-party integrations, and point-of-sale hardware. You'll collaborate closely with QA team members, product owners, developers, and leadership within a Scrum-based Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to uphold and exceed our quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze changes across the full technology stack to ensure they meet quality standards within a Scrum Agile SDLC.
  • Plan, write, and execute functional and regression test cycles; report on test results and progress.
  • Identify, document, and track defects in systems and applications under test.
  • Maintain and enhance the test case repository through gap analysis and regular reviews.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and documentation for new and existing features.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the systems under test.
  • Mentor and support team members in QA best practices.
  • Actively participate in sprint ceremonies including daily stand-ups, grooming, planning, and design sessions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to gather testing requirements and analyze project scope.
  • Coordinate with offshore QA teams to ensure alignment and coverage.
  • Work with the test automation team to investigate and triage automated test failures.
