Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to support business intelligence, reporting, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role will focus on analyzing data from various sources, building and maintaining Power BI dashboards, and delivering operational and strategic insights. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with archived data in Databricks and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and experienced in using a variety of reporting tools to support both tactical and executive-level needs. As the organization shifts from a canvas app driven approach to a centralized, data-first model, this role will also support the development and maintenance of the enterprise data model.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for operational and strategic use
• Develop and support operational reporting using tools beyond Power BI as needed
• Access and analyze archived data stored in Databricks and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
• Collaborate with business teams to define KPIs, reporting logic, and visualization requirements
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting outputs
• Document data sources, definitions, and reporting processes

Strategic Responsibilities

• Partner with business and technology teams to enable data-driven decision-making
• Promote self-service analytics through intuitive dashboards and reporting tools
• Support the organization s AI and automation strategy by identifying opportunities for predictive analytics and intelligent reporting
• Help evolve reporting capabilities toward proactive insights and scenario-based analysis
• Contribute to the development and support of the enterprise data model, ensuring consistency, scalability, and alignment with the shift away from canvas-based Power Platform solutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, BI, or reporting roles
• Strong proficiency in Power BI (DAX, data modeling, visualization best practices)
• Experience with SQL and working with relational databases
• Experience working with Databricks and Google Cloud Platform for historical data access
• Ability to interpret business needs and translate them into analytical solutions
• Strong communication and data storytelling skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft D365 and Power Platform
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and how they apply to business analytics
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards
• Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Excel, Looker)
• Exposure to automation tools and scripting for report generation
• Data Modeling: Ability to design and optimize data models for reporting and analytics
• ETL Understanding: Familiarity with data extraction, transformation, and loading processes
• Data Validation & QA: Experience in validating data accuracy and reconciling discrepancies
• Advanced Excel: Strong skills in pivot tables, Power Query, and formula-based analysis
• Scripting: Basic knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation and analysis
• Predictive Analytics: Understanding of forecasting and trend analysis using historical data
• Natural Language Querying: Experience with tools like Power BI Q&A
• Automation Tools: Familiarity with Power Automate or similar tools
• Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to gather requirements and present findings clearly
• Storytelling with Data: Skill in crafting compelling narratives from data
