PRIMARY FUNCTION:

A Senior Project Manager, is responsible for overseeing the planning and implementation of an entire project through budgeting, hiring team members, sourcing suppliers, and planning the project release. Their duties include setting deadlines, providing feedback, and communicating with clients about the status of their project. Project Managers must develop a plan of action to get a project completed, working across departments to ensure their needs and wants are included within the confines of the project and budgetary restrictions.

A Project Manager is well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures, and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results.

Physical Demands:

• Work will be split between a climate-controlled office environment and the outside.
• Occasionally meetings with clients, prospective clients, vendors, etc. may occur off site, which will require driving in all types of weather.
• Normal work hours range from eight to ten hours per day, five days per week.
• Occasionally, early morning, after hours, and weekend commitments may be necessary.

Requirements:

• Looking for more of government building construction experience vs site construction
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Requires the ability to guide, direct and coordinate the work of multiple activities at the same time. Excellent organizational skills, ability to plan projects and jobs, prioritize work and meet deadlines. Must be a dynamic individual who is client-oriented while keeping the company s interests in mind.
• Ability to multitask.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Familiarity with Project Management systems such as Foundation, CPM Scheduling a plus
• Excellent planning and time management skills.
• Excellent leadership abilities.
• Organizational and attention to detail.
• Estimating Preferred.
• Scheduling
• PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage.
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures, and material and project management principles.
• Familiarity with quality standards, and health and safety requirements.
• Five years of experience in project management.
• Ability to pass a government background check to work on Military Bases and in Government Facilities.
• Must hold a valid Driver s License.
