Job Details

Project Overview:

  • This role supports the Cloud Marketing Strategy & Operations team, specifically focusing on procurement operations, cross-functional program/project management, and strategic process improvements.
  • The Program Manager will act as a Chief of Staff to the hiring manager, leading day-to-day operations of a vendorized Business Services team that assists marketers with purchase order and budget navigation.

Overall Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Translate the executive s vision into actionable plans.
  • Prioritize and track strategic initiatives across teams.
  • Monitor KPIs and deliver progress reports.

Operational Oversight:

  • Drive execution of daily business operations.
  • Improve internal processes for efficiency and scalability.
  • Manage or coordinate cross-functional projects.

Executive Decision Support:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and sounding board.
  • Conduct research, analysis, and briefing preparation.
  • Prepare executive presentations, dashboards, or talking points.

Meeting & Calendar Management:

  • Set agendas and ensure productive meetings.
  • Attend meetings in place of the executive when needed.
  • Follow up on action items and ensure accountability.

Internal Communication & Alignment:

  • Act as a liaison between the executive and the broader team.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across departments.
  • Help manage sensitive personnel or organizational issues.

Stakeholder and Partner Coordination:

  • Interface with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare the executive for key engagements and partnerships.
  • Help navigate political and organizational dynamics.

Team Enablement & Leadership:

  • Serve as a proxy for executive leadership.
  • Drive organizational priorities across business units.
  • Occasionally lead or manage small internal teams or initiatives.

Experience (Mandatory):

  • Experience in a management consulting or strategic advisory environment, preferably with leading firms such as McKinsey, BCG, Bain (MBB), or Big 4 consultancies like Deloitte, Accenture, PwC, or EY.
  • Equivalent experience in boutique strategy firms or in-house corporate strategy/S&O teams is also highly valued.
  • Strong program management experience.
  • Experience with strategy and operations (S&O) functions.
  • Experience with business services operations; how to make the business services team run better.
  • Strong experience with budget utilization and spend operations (Experience managing or analyzing resource optimization/work allocation/capacity planning models).
  • Experience in procurement operations or source-to-pay processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management across cross-functional teams
  • Ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments.

Experience (Desired):

  • Experience in creating Purchase Orders (POs).
  • Prior experience with cloud marketing, though not required.
  • Comfort working across global time zones (occasionally early or late calls).

Education:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
