Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair security alarm and access control systems
- Drill and route wiring through walls, ceilings, and other structures
- Feed, terminate, and secure cables and wires
- Mount and connect control panels, sensors, cameras, and related equipment
- Read and follow blueprints and electrical layouts
- Test and troubleshoot circuits, sensors, and system components
- Program keypads and test backup systems and alarms
- Identify and resolve hardware, software, and basic network issues
- Assign IP addresses and understand basic networking (IPv4)
- Complete projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety standards
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and professionalism
- Submit required documentation and reports on time
- Follow all company and project-specific safety protocols
- Perform additional duties as assigned
