Description
We're seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Epic Beaker Analyst to help in the design and implementation of a new blood bank system within our Epic ecosystem. This is a key role in transforming laboratory workflows and ensuring safe, efficient blood product management across our health system.
Collaborate with clinical lab staff, pathologists, and blood bank teams to gather and validate system requirements.
Help in configuration, customization, and testing of Epic Beaker (specifically Beaker Lab and Blood Bank modules).
Build workflows that support blood product tracking, compatibility testing, transfusion documentation, and inventory management.
Perform gap analyses to identify optimization opportunities in current lab processes.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and integration testing.
Ensure compliance with FDA, AABB, and other regulatory standards impacting blood bank workflows.
Act as the liaison between IT, laboratory services, and Epic representatives to streamline communication.
Support go-live planning, end-user training, and post-launch troubleshooting.
