Job Title: Snowflake / AWS Integration Architect

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid needs to be able to come to office 3 days a week)

Duration: 24+ months

Pay rate range: $85 - $100 an hour

Job Description:

Snowflake/AWS integration architect

As an architect you will lead all stages of software development including refining product vision, gathering requirements, project planning, software system design, coding, testing, release, deployment and support. Will be optimizing and simplifying existing structures. Leading the team in adapting best practices to increase efficiency.

Typical Day in the Role:

1. Review the snowflake integration design - using this design to continue to build multiple use cases
2. Manage the CI/CD of snowflake Changes
3. Admin the snowflake environment (Pipe, Warehouse, user)
4. Automate the data quality activities in snowflake (Task, workflow)
5. Integrate AWS - Snowflake - PowerBI - UI Apps

Technical Skills (Required):

• 3+ years Snowflake Architect level experience (Production Grade): ie previous titles like Data Analytics Architect
• 5+ AWS Cloud Experience (Production Grade)
• 3+ Implementations in snowflake and understand the advanced capabilities like ML Model deployment etc Snowflake Optimization experience (Auto clustering, Warehouse, Query plan) etc.
• SQL performance tuning
• Exp with AWS well architected framework
• AWS Certification SA (Solutions Architect) or Data and Analytics specialty Critical

Soft Skills (Required):

• Demonstrated leadership on medium to large-scale projects impacting strategic priorities.
• Ability to cope with shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize, delegate responsibilities and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints Passion for technology and an eagerness to contribute to a team-oriented environment.
