Classification Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization.

Job Description:
Data Collection
Develop data collection instruments in conjunction with other faculty and staff in the FRE department
Oversee data collection to ensure representative samples
Interact regularly with data providers

Utilizes statistical software to analyze and interpret research data.
Clean data in preparation for analysis
Conduct descriptive analysis of the data
Make recommendations for and use statistical analysis to interpret data

Assists in writing manuscripts for industry and publication based on data collected.
Write summary reports of descriptive analysis
Create visualizations such as charts, graphs, and dashboards to communicate findings effectively
Automate processes to analyze data and prepare output
Collaborate on writing results from deeper statistical analysis for publication

Maintains appropriate records of research methods and results.
Ensure data integrity and security by following best practices
Document data sources and collection methods
Organize raw and processed datasets for easy access and reference
Log data cleaning and transformation steps
Participates in proposal writing

Expected Salary:
$53,000- $60,000 commensurate with education and experience

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization.

PreferredBachelor's degree in agricultural economics, marketing, data science, or related field. Excellent communication skills and problem solver. Knowledge of statistical packages and ability to create data dashboards. Experience designing surveys and collecting data.
