Noblis MSD's mission is to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCPD) and their missions' to enable research, development, test and evaluation, acquisition, engineering, systems integration, in-service and fleet engineering with cybersecurity, comprehensive logistics, and life-cycle savings. Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field and 5 years work experience OR High School and 11 years relevant work experience

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis' total compensation package.

Noblis MSD is looking to hire a Waterfront Engineer to work in Mayport, Florida.
Noblis MSD is currently looking to hire a Waterfront Engineer who will:
- Travel to ship locations to conduct 3D scans of various pieces of HM&E equipment
- Create 3D renders in Solidworks
- Create test prints of scanned equipment in a lab and work with relevant Engineers and Technical Points of Contact to test the printed equipment for shipboard application
- Work with TPOCs and relevant Engineers, Sponsors, and Customers to assist in receiving certification and approval for printed equipment
- May require additional engineering or technical support related to additive manufacturing as requested by the customer
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field and 5 years work experience OR High School and 11 years relevant work experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- 3+ years experience in financial or cost analysis
- with a Secret Clearance
- Up to 25% travel required
- Requires occasional shipboard support and waterfront support actvities
Desired Qualifications
- Prior U.S. Navy experience
- Prior waterfront and/or shipboard experience
- Prior experience with CAD and 3D Printing
- Knowledge and/or direct exprience working in additive manufacturing
