Technical/Systems Analyst II

Location: Tempe, AZ
Salary: $65.00 USD Hourly - $75.00 USD Hourly
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Technical/Systems Analyst II
Overview: Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates information technology systems operations. Determines user needs and requirements and recommends ways to improve systems. Serves as primary point of contact between users and engineering/development staff. Identifies, documents, reports and tracks system issues. Supports the process of translating business needs into formal technical requirement deliverables.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• These analysts will be assigned to various large-scale projects that will change over time (ie., Project ends and they will be moved, or a reshuffle or resources needs to be made so they will be moved)
• Current project that is mid-flight: Peer-to-Peer Encryption
• This team is the last line of defense before escalation to Engineering or Third-Party IT Support
• Generally, a day shift, but flexibility with hours is a must - may have to switch to nights at some point down the line for a time, and the manager wants someone who can be flexible
• Local to the Tempe, AZ area is highly preferred for fully Onsite training in first few months and a Hybrid schedule down the line, but potential Remote opportunity for the right candidate

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Retail IT, fuel & convenience (POS, Payment Accept systems, fuel dispensers, etc.) within the last 5 years
• Minimum 3 Years experience in IT/Systems Analysis & Support
• Supporting large-scale project deployments
• Well Rounded IT skills: NOT specialists, NOT Network engineers/support
• Preferred experience with NCR Radiant (POS system used by most of their stores) and Verifone (small pockets of use, but experience here would be helpful)
• Preferred experience Virtualization environments
