Position: Point of Sale (POS) C#, Oracle, XML based Data Exchange LEAD Software Engineer

Location: Remote to start for initial 6 months while on contract. Prefer Local to Nashville, TN area or within reasonable driving distance.

OR willing to relocate at their own expense to the Nashville, TN area if offered full-time position.

Requirements:

• Experience in Retail Point of Sale (POS) system. (Minimum of 5 years MUST HAVE)
• Experience with Data Integrations at scale (Minimum of 5 years)
• XML based data exchange (MUST HAVE)
• Knowledge of Design Patterns - Microservices, Distributed, Offline architectures
• Software Configuration Management SCM & CI/CD pipelines
• POS Image & Data Store management
• Development experience in C#, .Net (MUST HAVE)
• Database experience and development in Oracle (MUST HAVE)
• Database experience and development in SQL (GOOD TO HAVE)
• Use/Design of WebAPIs, Data Streaming (Kafka, ActiveMQ)
• Understanding of complex Retail and Technology concepts.

4. What is your location? If outside Nashville area but within reasonable driving distance, would you be comfortable commuting onsite on occasion at your own expense? If outside commutable area, are you willing/open to relocating to the Nashville area at your own expense, if offered a full-time position after the initial contract period?
