Summary

The Agile Software Application Product Owner is responsible for managing the product backlog, defining user stories, and prioritizing tasks to ensure the development team delivers features that meet business goals and customer expectations. The Product Owner works in an Agile/Scrum framework, actively engaging with stakeholders and the Scrum team to drive product development, making sure the product roadmap aligns with the strategic vision. They ensure that the product is both high-quality and user-centered, with a focus on delivering value in iterative increments.

Your role in our mission

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with business goals, while remaining adaptable to market feedback and changes.
  • Backlog & Requirements Management: Own and prioritize the product backlog; write actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria to guide development within Agile sprint cycles.
  • Stakeholder & Team Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders and Scrum teams, ensuring alignment on priorities, progress, and deliverables throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Customer-Centric Development & Optimization: Gather and analyze customer feedback and product performance data to inform decisions, drive continuous improvement, and enhance user satisfaction.
  • Agile Leadership & Quality Assurance: Champion Agile best practices, support sprint planning and reviews, oversee acceptance testing, and coordinate smooth product launches and post-launch support.


What we're looking for

10+ years of experience as a Product Owner in Agile environments, with strong knowledge of Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
Pharmacy Domain expertise Required, particularly in Claims and Prior Authorization processes.
Skilled in writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and managing product backlogs using tools like Jira and Confluence.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
Solid understanding of software development processes, including both frontend and backend components, with strong problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Certifications:
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO)
Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
Certified Agile Product Manager (AIPMM)

The pay range for this position is $92,900.00 - $132,700.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
