Our client is currently seeking a qualified IT Supervisor to join their team onsite in Memphis, TN and provide end-user support. The IT Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily IT operations, providing leadership to technical support teams, and ensuring the efficient delivery of IT services across the organization. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic planning, team management, and process improvement. The IT Supervisor acts as a liaison between IT staff and upper management, aligning technology initiatives with business goals.

This Supervisor will be required to work in both a warehouse environment and standard office environment to complete daily duties. There may be occasional travel or after-hours project/support work as required. On-call availability during off-hours for urgent issues or support escalations.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Supervise, mentor, and lead a team of IT technicians and infrastructure support functions
  • Coordinate the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network systems
  • Monitor team performance and provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations
  • Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure security, compliance, and efficiency
  • Assist in planning and executing IT projects, upgrades, and deployments
  • Provide escalated technical support and act as a point of contact for high-priority incidents
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand IT needs and deliver effective solutions
  • Maintain accurate documentation of systems, incidents, asset inventory, and support activities
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports for senior management
  • Ensure IT operations are aligned with business continuity and disaster recovery plans


Skills and Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in the Information Technology field or certifications (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) preferred
  • Minimum of 5 to 7+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role
  • Strong technical knowledge of IT systems, networks, cybersecurity, and enterprise software
  • Proven leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools and methodologies
  • Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS), virtualization, and remote support tools


Wage Range :
The rate for this position is between $30.00 - $40.00 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
