Mechanical Engineer III

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has an enterprise client seeking a Mechanical Engineer III in Redmond, WA.

Summary:
We're looking for an outstanding Mechanical Engineer who combines superb technical and analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for developing 3D and 2D mechanical design and schematic creation related analysis for flight and test wire harnesses. The ideal candidate will have a foundation in mechanical engineering suited for both prototype and production level designs.

REQUIREMENTS:
* BSc in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or equivalent
* Knowledge of ECAD software for 3D modeling, 2D drafting, and schematic creation
* Experience designing wire harnesses for test and flight aerospace systems
* Strong communication and writing skills
* Use of engineering project management software such as JIRA, Confluence, or other Agile tools

Preferred:
* Siemens Teamcenter for PLM
* Siemens NX and Capital for 3D modeling and 2D drafting

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
