Hadoop Developer

Locations: Charlotte, NC/ Richmond, VA/ Jersey City, NJ/ Chandler, AZ (Hybrid role 3 Days onsite)

Duration: 12+ month
10+ Years of IT experience with 6+ Years of relevant experience in developing solutions using Hadoop technologies, Hive, Impala, Tez, UNIX, Python
Responsibilities:
Not using oracle, strongly prefer Microsoft SQL server Experience
Building data loading process
End to end development (understand those process)
Repositories
Spark & SQL Server experience - build processes.

Required Skills

Required Qualifications
10+ Years of IT experience with 6+ Years of relevant experience in developing solutions using Python and Hadoop technologies
Good programming knowledge with Hadoop, HIVE, Unix, Python, Shell Scripting
Strong knowledge in SQL/PSQL for building and performance tuning complex queries with multiple joins
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent written/verbal communication skills
Agile methodologies
Excellent reporting, debugging and problem solving solutions
Ability to multitask, work well under pressure, prioritize and meet deadline
Desired Qualifications
Ability to dive into technical details and eliminate ambiguity and propose best practices/standards
Work with LOB/Dev team to prevent software defects by attending requirement reviews and architectural design reviews every release
Knowledge on relational databases, CI/CD, Horizon deployment tools, JIRA
Strong focus on continuous improvements
Highly motivated self-starter with ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities and meet aggressive deadlines
