Job Description -

Must Have

  • A bachelor s degree in electrical engineering is required. One or more years experience in medical device product development or equivalent is required. Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and proven hands-on electronic/mechanical skills.
  • Circuit debugging experience
  • Printed Circuit Board Designer
  • Printed Circuit Board testing

  • Board test plan and initial execution
  • Develop low level checkout
  • Manage prototype hardware in the lab/local locations

  1. Manage prototype hardware in the lab/local locations
  2. State of PCBAs
    • Apply/ensure rework is consistent across all systems (include directing technicians to perform this work)
    • Manage software/PL installed on the systems/PCBAs
  1. Support software, systems possibly DA with PCBA
  • Issue debug
  1. Board test plan and initial execution
  2. Receive initial Boards 1 PCBAs
  3. Develop low level checkout
  • Ohmic checks
  • Initial power on
  • Low level register testing (per PCBA if applicable)
  1. Lead technicians once initial PCBAs are tested
  • Resources as test failures occur
  • Debug failures with technician assist.
  1. Assist with EMC test setup (local internal prescreen and local test house)
  2. Work hand in hand with the PL team to test hardware interface and expected results
  3. Develop/test board functions, ADC interfaces, DAC interfaces as needed.
  4. Bridge External Contract House, Systems team, DA team and EE team on catheter simulator design
  5. Assist with PCBA testing for first units
  6. Design lab test fixtures, test boards to support functional testing for EE team, systems team
  7. Participate in design reviews for schematics and layout

  1. Research, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.
  2. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
