Location: Hybrid Miramar, FL (33027) Local only
Type: Long-term Contract
Target Start: December 1
Vendor Rate: $70/hr W2 (No benefits)
Local candidates only (Miramar, FL)

About the Role

We're seeking a senior, hands-on Solution Architect specializing in Automation and Observability. This position combines enterprise strategy, architecture, and deep technical execution, ideal for someone who can design end-to-end solutions while remaining hands-on with automation tooling.

Responsibilities

  • Create the automation & observability strategy, roadmap, and architectural standards

  • Design and implement automation using Terraform, Ansible, Python, and Bash

  • Build & maintain automation scripts, CI/CD workflows, and pipelines

  • Collaborate with engineering & business teams to identify automation opportunities

  • Act as a technical leader and mentor across engineering teams

  • Implement observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk

  • Build dashboards, health reports, and documentation

  • Apply AI/ML where possible to optimize automation & observability

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, architecture, or technical leadership

  • Hands-on experience with:

    • Terraform, Ansible, Python, Bash

    • AWS Cloud

    • Observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk)

  • Strong debugging and problem-solving capabilities

  • Familiarity with Harness for CD/Deployment

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks or NLP

  • Strong Python development background

  • Experience with distributed systems, microservices, cloud-native technologies

  • CI/CD pipeline development & automation testing frameworks

  • Knowledge of shift-left and shift-right security practices:

    • SAST, SCA, secrets detection, RASP, chaos engineering
